Deborah Martin creates beautiful paintings of our Southwest Florida environment. She wants the viewer to look more lovingly at the Gulf of Mexico and discover it's beauty. She explores the fluidity of nature in her work, the rhythmic flow of water, wind and air through the ancient medium of encaustic wax.  During the corona virus lock-down she has begun painting in oils again.  A delightful gardening series has evolved.  Working in her studio and creating earthy paintings removes her from the dangerous world we are currently inhabit.

Presently, our beautiful Gulf is in danger from harmful releases into our waterways. We are experiencing red tide and toxic algae which causes the death of fish, turtles, plants and wildlife. She believes we can take positive measures to correct the destruction of our Gulf of Mexico.

Hours:  Wednesday, Thursday  11:00 - 3:00 or by appointment.
